Q1 2021: Basic Updates + Robos

 

Here we are at the start of Q2 2021, time flies.

Here are some updates to our investment portfolio (tracked using StocksCafe): 

We both use different portfolios under StocksCafe, but this is our combined holdings as a couple. 

We are slowly increasing our investments and currently it is at a value of 92k+/- depending on the markets. Not too bad! Investing is a lifelong journey and we are still amateurs learning and trying to improve our chances to FIRE at a younger age.  

Apart from investing in SGX stocks, we recently decided to diversify into the Global markets using Robo-advisors. We are currently using Endowus and Syfe (monthly DCA).  

Endowus

We are using the 60/40 portfolio and so far the returns are quite decent 

(first investment made in Oct '20).

We also recently (Mar '21) invested 5k into Endowus Cash Smart. Since it is a relatively stable fund, its current yield is only at 0.08%. Maybe we will do an update 1 year later to see how the returns are like.

We are also considering to invest our SRS funds with Endowus (20/80). 

Syfe

We were initially using the Syfe Global ARI as well as Syfe Equity 100. However, Syfe Global ARI doesn't seem to be functioning as well as Endowus 60/40 despite having similar risk allocation. So we took it out at -2% and invested the full amount into Equity100. 

The returns here are not too bad either, however it can be higher considering it being way riskier than Endowus 60/40 portfolio. Well we'll give it some time and probably check in again 6 months later.

Lastly, our combined Net Worth has surpassed the 350k mark!

Current Net Worth: 360k.
